Going to "Backup Manager Backup", I find the options Red: Finish Green: Store Yellow: Backup Now Blue: Full Backup I don't want to push any buttons before I know what it will do, so what's the difference between the Yellow and Green options?

My hearing is not what it used to be and i depend on screen text to enjoy tv. But I get no text on my new DM7080 / Newnigma2 image. Where do I start solving the problem? My DM8000 shows text on the same channels.

At startup, a the top of the screen: E:dpkg was interrupted. You must manually run ‘dpkg-configure-a’ to correct the problem In the middle of the screen: “Not successfully.” What is, and how do I run dpkg? Looks like I got some problems, maybe a fresh flash may remove them, or is there any way they can be fixed? I will recheck my boxid because it doesn't seem to work. The card is not working so I'll take a new look at the serial number and conversion.

Indeed... But now my only problem is with Cccam. I have the cfg-file from my old DB, and have tried to create the new boxid in hex format from the last 10 digits of the serial number. That's how the card is handled in the DM8k so I asssume I am doing it right.

OMG. I have tried over several days, but just after posting my problem here I made another try and lo and behold - All the channels came in! I suspect the problem must have been in the cables; I have a DM8k also and they share the same source cable, but I did a cleanup on the cables before this last trial and I was really surprised to see it was all ok!

DM7080 with Newnigma2. Satellite channels: OK. Cable channels: Nothing. I try to configure the Cable tuners but have not been able to find any channels. Maybe this problem is location specific and problems here in Norway and a Norwegian provider would be outside of what you might be able to offer any help on? Oh no, I know well that Newnigma2 like most other images do not support BA. But my flash image does. It is used only for booting from scratch. But Newnigma2 is what I use. I don't think removal of BA from the plugins can improve the situation. EPG is 6th entry in the list; making it the 5th won't be of much help. I do not need BA with Nn2, but if it is there it works. I can select another image and a reboot will ensue. But I can just as easily restart from the system menu and I'll gladly remove …

I use Graphic Multi EPG alle the time, but Barry Allen very seldom. Therefore it would be convenient just to push blue button - OK instead of arrow down into the list to access the EPG entry. Personally, I'd prefer to have Multi EPG directly on the blue button but I don't think that would be possible?

I recently flashed newnigma2-unstable-dm8000-09_01_2014.nfi to my box. I am somewhat bewildered by the many versions available. New "unstable" (plus "stable?") versions are released all the time, and in addition there are some regular looking versions with version numbers available as well. So what is a poor guy supposed to do? Pick one at random? Some info about the relative merits of the different version would be great.
