Hi all, I installed the HD 3d picons (all sats) under newnigma 3.01 on usb-stick (tried also latest unstable). OSD settings are ok (sdb1 path is shown). my skin: YADS-HD, online installed. After first reboot (after installation) the picon for my first shown hd-channel is ok but afther my first zap HD-channel picons are not shown anymore. SD-channels give a nice 3d-picon. Only all the hd-channels give nothing (no picon). I installed the picons online. What did i do wrong? thanks, eline

Hi all! SOLVED! The solution was: put the TV and the dreambox off for at least 5 mins. (off- power; i mean cables disconnected from the power at the wall) After this, powercable reconnected & i rebooted first my dm800. Then i powered my tv with his powercable & put it back on. Result: picture AND audio! so what the cause was: i don't know but at this moment all is working back again. Everybody who replyed: thanks again. Thanks for the info MartiniB... I will check this at once. But possibly there is more wrong... Now i see there are more people that are having the same problem with the same cvi (other firmware but same cvi) => see link... i-have-a-dreambox.com/wbb2/thr…ght=&hilightuser=0&page=2 So possibly it can also be an error in the firmware. Strange that this problem appears days after the new firmwares came out... Any suggestions? thanks.

Thank you for the answer, MartiniB. But i did this already. I don't understand anything about it; the only thing i did was coming from standby and there was no sound anymore. My tv is a PFL8404; i'm not sure if it is my television (audio via hdmi) or my dreambox that give the problem... I have nothing ese to test my hdmi on television than my dm800. When selecting scart i have normal audio, selecting dvi gives normal picture but no sound. I try to find a solution; i will sure reply when anything…

Thanks for answering but yes, i tried this too. No change... Do i have to do more than this setting (downmix: on)? Can the driver be the reason too? I saw on other forums there were more people with the same problem (but long ago, in 2009); they could for example pull the dvi-cable off and back on. Then they had audio until next reboot. it was a driver problem, fixed in newer firmware-revisions. Normally the problem can't exist anymore. eline

Hi all, When i put my tv on this morning (& my dreambox dm800 from standby to on) i did not have any audio anymore. Picture was still perfect. HDMI on my tv is working perfect (tested with other media). When i change the setting on my dm800 to' scart' - with a scart-cable connected - , the audio is ok. Only in DVI-mode there's no audio. Hi all, 1)The audio volume is not always the same for each channels. When zapping, sometimes a channel gives much more volume than others. 2)When decreasing the volume with the remote control of the dreambox, i can't hear much (any) difference until the last 'block' of the volumebar disappears; then there's no volume anymore. I don't understand; I follow the link " ... Pls report bugs here (klick me)... " to give some (hopely helpful) information of the unstable image i try and after 1 min the thread is "closed". isn't it better to say " ... Pls don't report bugs... " ? Latest unstable; newnigma2-snapshot-dm800-20100514093316 - slower while booting (takes more time than v 2.8.4) - some channels give black picture when using same settinglist as for 2.8.4; rescan for channels give not a complete list.
