Thanks, that was the trick. I had already a delay on 10 sec, but when I used Camd restart and then Restart of the box CCcam works. Unfortunately this solution doesn't survive when I perform a hard shutdown or a reboot. Any solutions to this?

Hi, any tips on how to get CCcam working on a dm520hd? I have image of 26-Aug-2016 installed. When I go to Newnigma Service -> Emu menu -> Camd choice it says: CCcam 2.3.0 Camd off. This is not a big deal, but strange... I have a dm800hdse (ver1) snow white edition which shows that I'm on image Newnigma2 v4.0.5 2013-10-06 and at the same time it says Enigma2: 2014-02-19-tarball. Take a look at the attached picture. After version 4.05, when I've upgraded to version 4.0.6, 4.0.7, 4.0.8 and 4.0.9 the image information is stuck on 4.0.5 when I look it up in the menu through Menu-Information-About. I get all the upgrades, but it still shows 4.0.5 even though I now is at 4.0.9. I…

Mediatomb now also starts up after a reboot. Thanks everybody for your help.

I've tried both mediatomb --daemon and "/usr/script/mediatomb-start.sh in the user_script.sh file. I did run the cmod 755 on both tries. But no luck. The mediatomb server start when i run the command /usr/script/user_script.sh, but after a reboot I still have to start it manually again. Please, any new suggestions?

Need some more help please. I have the folder /usr/script/ not /user/script/. I guess this is the same folder(?) I have no file(?) called user_script.sh Do I need to create one? I have the files mediatomb-start.sh and mediatomb-stop.sh in the folder /usr/script/

Hi, can somebody help med out how I can make the Mediatomb UPnP MediaServer start automatically evertytime I start up my dm800hdse? Now I have to start it manually with the command "mediatomb --daemon" every time I reboot. I tried to add the line "mediatomb stream tcp nowait root usb/bin/mediatomb mediatomb --daemon" (copyed from another line that works) in inetd.confin /etc but that didn't help. Newnigma2 v3.2.1, dm800hdse, mediatomb 0.12.0.

Soo the story goes on Yesterday I put the line rsync stream tcp nowait root /usr/bin/rsync rsyncd --daemon into the file /etc/inetd.conf on my dm800hdse. My NAS can now successfully connect to my dm800hdse on port 873 using a username and password. At least something works. However I have a problem with sharing a folder on the dm800hdse to perform the sync job. This worked. Using your guide and logging in with ssh -i (...) makes it possible to ssh from one dreambox to another without password. Too bad I have to actively specify which key to use. I had hoped that this wasn't necessary. Anyway. Thanks you very much for all your help.

I use authorized_keys from my pc, my NAS and my iphone directly to my dm8000hd box with no problem. I can also connect to my dm800hdse from my NAS without any problem. I've generated a key on the dm800hdse with dropbearkey using the command dropbearkey -t rsa -f /home/root/.ssh/dm800hdse_rsa_host_key This generates a private key which is put into the folder /home/root/.ssh/ on the dm800hdse I then use the command dropbearkey -y -f id_rsa | grep "^ssh-rsa " >> authorized_keys which adds the public key to the file authorized_keys on the same machine. I would like some help to find out if it's possible to use rsync on my 800HD SE with Newnigma2 v3.1.1 and how to install it on my box.
