Dear All, I really enjoy the image. Congrats for the work done. However, I have a problem with the sound. If I watch a HD channel or a registered movie with digital sound (ie AC3), and if then, I change to another channel (sd or HD), the sound disappear, even if downmix is on or off. I always have to restart the box. Do you have any help for that (or fix?) Thanks and happy Sunday!

Thank you! It works! So Image instaled yesterday night. Here is my feedback: -Very fast and clear as usual; -bug green screen when I tried to format the HDD. Dear All, Happy new year. As far as I know, it is not possible to use the e-sata external hdd (DM500hd) in Mac Hfs+ system file, so I would like to do it in ntfs. I understood it was possible but I can't mount or write on it. Any help please? (I see in plugin panel that 3G ntfs is green) Thanks a lot!

I see... So the solution would be to format in hfs+ by telnet? I tried mfks.hfsplus but no success... By the way I manage to make the dreambox read a movie on a hfs formatted hard disk but no way to write...

no way I format it in my mac in hfs+naming it "multimedia" and then when I plug it in the dm500hd with last enigma image, going in storage device, "toshiba 1TOxxxx appears saying : "the device contains more than one partition", then, I click ok and the system says "no partition recognized". I try to reformat now creating directly the folder "movie" with the mac, let's see your help is welcom... thanks!

Hello, I have a DM500HD and I read in the description that hfs and hfs+ are now supported. Could someone tell me how to mount it in the box? (via e-sata). Wen I plug in my hdd (already in h formattes) the dreambox proposed me to format it in ext format... THANKS

Dear All, I have a dm500hd and I would like to set up a disecq 3.1 configuration. I have a visiosat with 3 lnb for astra 19.2 (canalsat), Hotbird 13 (sky it). and Astra 28.2 (sky UK). The 3 lnb are connected to a disecq 3.1 and one cable is coming to my DM. However I cannot setup more than 2 satellites. Could you pls help me with that? THANKS

Thanks for the link. I tried but is it really working in a 64 bits environnement? Nothing happend and what is strange is that you install it but there is no panel for options or something. Furthermore, it seems a "deep" software as you have to reboot the mac after installation.

thank you but my mac cannot read ext3 dreambox formated external harddisk... I tried with macfuse but it xas ok in read only...

and does the image support another format than ext2 or 3 ?

I would like format it in hfs+ to be able to connect the device to my Mac. If I format it with my Mac, the DM recognize it but will initialize it to register and it is always in linux ext3.
