Aldi NAS zum Streamen schnell genug?

Hi spiele mit dem Gedanken mir diese NAS beim Aldi zu kaufen.
Von den Leistungdaten müsste sie ja schnell genung sein, für HD Aufnahmen und Streaming oder?
PS: Der Preis ist trotz der hohen Festplattenpreise auch i.O.

Mit dem DualCore ARM SoC mit 750MHz hört sich das sehr gut an, Preis ist mit der 1,5T Platte und Gigaport auch fast unschlagbar...müsste man testen...auch eine Frage der instl. Software dort, evtl. gibt's schon Leuts im Inet die Linux mit weiteren Plugins drauf laufen haben. Also kaufen, testen, und wenn Schrott --> zurückbringen/zurückschicken

hmm da rennt Samba-Server drauf damit geht nur ein cifs mount für 1 stream wird das langen aber mehr

probier es mit deinem pc aus mache eine freigabe und mounte diese an die box

Hast du eine alte DM800 ?
Naja die Box ist wahrlich nicht die schnellste, schaut man einen HD-Film dann bricht der Netzwerktransfer um 50% ein.
Da kann es schon etwas ausmachen ob man nun NFS oder SAMBA nutzt.
Bei den anderen Box spielt das eigentlich weniger eine Rolle.

Ich gehe davon aus, dass du Donnerstag sehr früh bei Aldi sein mußt.
Ich wollte mir schon im Oktober ein Qnap410 holen und mit 4 Stück 2TB bestücken. Aber bei den Plattenpreisen im Moment warte ich, es gibt keine 2TB Platte zu Straßenpreisen unter 150,-€.
Da habe ich mir auch schon überlegt, die Aldi-Platten mit Gehäuse zu holen und die Platten auszubauen, billiger kommt man im Moment nicht an Platten. Ich gehe davon aus, dass ich nicht der Einzige mit dieser Idee bin.

Problem ist meist nur, dass man nicht genau weiß, welche Platte im Gehäuse steckt.

Ansonsten kann ich zum Aldi-Angebot auch nur sagen: Zugreifen, wenn man jetzt ein NAS benötigt.

Hab noch was bei den Aussis gefunden da gabs die NAS ein paar Tage früher

Just tried copying a 2.2 GB file over gigabit ethernet.. Writing was about 38MB/s and reading was about 45MB/s

So hab meine DM800se an das "ALDI-NAS" per NFS angebunden. Läuft sehr gut. Habe mal 3 HD Aufnahmen aufeinmal gestartet und dabei noch eine laufende Aufnahme abgespielt und alles ohne Ruckler.

NFSTest Log zeigt folgendes:

Hallo du sprichst aber von dem NAS die im ersten link bei aldi zu kaufen gibt ??
kannst du nachmessen was die an strom (watt) nehmt im betrieb ??

ok danke das würde mich interesieren da ich schon einen server laufen habe der ca 35 watt nehmt wollte ich meine hdd in einen pc inkl server der dann ca 50-55 watt verbraucht rein stecken damit meine boxen und pc zugrif drauf haben werde dann morgen reinschauen was die nehmt wenn du das messen kanst
