      Hello,

      I have the following problem , when searching for channels on astra 23,5 it always stops at 57%.
      When pushing on exit it returns to the main search screen so the DM8000 is not blocked but is just stuck at 57% , i have tried it serveral times always the same situation :

      ASTRA3/Thor-2 (23.5E)
      DVB-S2 QPSK 12032H/0/9/10
      Searching - 57% Done. 97 channels found.

    • did you try an other satellites.xml ?

      copy / override it in here: /etc/tuxbox/

      reboot

      try searching again.

      Hi,

      there are 2 other posts concerning the channel search problem on Astra 3. We have this bug on DB800HDse too. Changing the satellites.xml is useless. As I understood the guys are working on it.

      Who is working on it?

      A) Your satellites.xml contains an invalid transponder
      or
      B) the NIT contains theses invalid transponder

      So just update your satellites.xml or disable NIT scan

    • If you've a BCM4505 tuner inserted, then do blindscan. Then you really find what is transmitted on that position. (blindscan doesn't work if DM8000 has 2x BCM4501 tuners, a BCM4505 is nessesary)

    • Problem solved here. Just changed to the correct frequency on Satelite.xml and now no problems. The search is complete on 23,5E now.
