    • How to get the ECM info and CAIDs for channels with dvbsnoop in Newnigma2 ?

      Hello

How to get the ECM info and CAIDs for channels with dvbsnoop ?

Some are suggested that I should run the following command in telnet. But when I run it nothing happens:

      Quellcode

      1. dvbsnoop -n 1 -nph 1 | grep CA_system_ID | awk -F "(" '{print $2}' | awk -F ")" '{print $1}'

Some have suggested the following command:

      Quellcode

      1. dvbsnoop -n 1 -nph 1

When I run it, a series of information be appears but ECM info and CAIDs did not appear.

      Regards
    • Your first quote is okay. With them all caids are listed from the tuned channel of tuner 1.
To see the ecm stream there is a lot of more to do, ex. set pid and filter.

Ps. this is not only a newnigma image related question. dvbsnoop will work on all images the same way
    • Hi,

      for CAID try

      dvbsnoop -n 1 -nph 1 -demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux3

      for example Discovery HD:

      root@dm7020hd:~# dvbsnoop -n 1 -nph 1 -demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux3
      dvbsnoop V1.4.51 -- dvbsnoop.sourceforge.net/

Where can I find this list?

Because when I run the command, no list appeared in telnet.

Ps: I want to get ECM info and CAIDs for channels with CW (BISS) coding system.

      Thank you

But how do I get the ECM info through this way?

When I run Your suggested command, no list appeared in telnet.

    • Hi

      Brainfuck-Quellcode

      1. root@dm7080:~# dvbsnoop -s pidscan
      2. dvbsnoop V1.4.51 -- http://dvbsnoop.sourceforge.net/
      3. ---------------------------------------------------------
      4. Transponder PID-Scan...
      5. ---------------------------------------------------------
      6. root@dm7080:~#

Schalte ich z.B. auf einen Himmelssender und setz das

      Quellcode

      1. dvbsnoop -n 1 -nph 1 -demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux3 | grep CA_system_ID | awk -F "(" '{print $2}' | awk -F ")" '{print $1}'

ab , so bleibt das Terminalfenster ebenfalls leer.
Die Abfrage der Frontendinfo klappt z.B.

    • OK, solved the problem. On a dreambox with the latest newnigma image installed, try this line if you want to save emm's to your hard drive:

      dvbsnoop -npd 0xXXXX -b -crc -demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux3 > /media/hdd/filename_emm.bin

where 0xXXXX is the CA_PID for the channel provider.
