WLAN Support in e2-Board Image

      Wie läuft das mit dem WLAN Support? Kann ich einfach meinen USB Fritz Wlan Stick einstecken und losgehts?

      was für ein chipsatz ist auf dem stick ?

      kannst ihn ja mal einstecken per telnet auf die box und ein "iwconfig" machen

      kommt da sowas wird dein stick erkannt

      tjo ka welcher chip da drin ist nimm mal die nummer und google mal welcher wlan-chip da verbaut ist

      ich versuche auch schon die längste zeit wlan zum laufen zu bingenleider ohne erfolg.
      meine daten:
      7025sc mit multiboot cf-karte
      e2-images im flash,
      auf karte 1.part.=e2, 2.part.=gimini2-3.1, 3.part.=lt. jeweils mit 110mb.
      als wifi-stick c54ru von conceptonic.
      habe auch den wifi-plagin von euch runtergeladen/installiert,
      finde aber keine plagineinstellungsmöglichkeit, auch nicht nach einem reboot.

      wie bringe ich den wifi zum laufen?

    • geh mal per telnet auf die box und da ein "iwconfig" eingeben

      wenn das so ausschaut wird dein stick unterstützt

      ich nutze ein 3com 3CRUSB10075 der funktioniert ohne prob, das plugin ist nur
      aktiv wenn ein device gefunden wird dann kannst du unter netzwerk eth0 und wlan0 auswählen :D

    • ich kann das leider nicht testen versuchmal das packtet

      per ftp auf die box nach /tmp
      per telnet auf die box
      ipkg install /tmp/rt2570_1.1.0-b2-r0_dm7025.ipk
      modprobe rt2570

      wenn kein fehler kommt kannst du mit "lsmod" schauen ob das modul geladen ist
      stick ziehen wieder einstecken und "iwconfig"

      vielleicht findest du ja hier noch etwas info

      habe es so ausgeführt gemäß deiner anleitung,
      aber es klappt nicht.
      hänge mal das protokoll an.

      ach ja, unter netzwerkeinstellungen > etho < wird kein wlan zum editieren aufgemacht bzw. angezeigt.

    • was ich dem bb-file entnehme du brauchst für deinen usb stick die firmware

      RDEPENDS_rt73usb = "ralink-base (${PV}) rt73-firmware"
