Hallo ist es möglich wenn an der Fern. Bouquet gedrückt wird kommt ja das Menü wo oben links ja Kanaliste steht kann mann da auch noch an der rechten seite über den Strich zb. das so machen das da der Ortner anzeigt wie Sky Film , Sky Welt das mann weiß wo mann gerade ist!?

The place of the subtitles is not how it is used to be.

Can this be fixed,
or did i miss something?

what kind of subtitles are this ? how u played that movie ? yesterday i watched a film (sky hd) that subtitles were normal..

These are DVB subtitles.
But TXT subtitles are also displayed on that strange place.

Other skins put the subs on the normal place.

You can fix it. In skin.xml find <screen name="SubtitleDisplay" position="0,0" and change it <screen name="SubtitleDisplay" position="310,140"

Now a second question.
Is it possible to add an outline to the subs?

It makes white subs easy to read on a white background.

Don't mind the red color of the subs.
it is not OK,but i can change it manually with the attached file.

For TXT subtitles I use 2SUB. Have you tried it? It's in Newnigma plugin downloads. With 2SUB subtitles placement is also better.

thanx for reply.

The 2sub plugin does not recognize the dutch subs
because the page is not linked to a language.

for example

txt 891 german
txt 892 polish
txt 893

when the dutch sub is on page 893
the plugin does not display it.

if you can watch the THOR satellite on 0,8 W
check out Discovery travel& living,science and world channels
and select the last displayed page for subtitles.
2SUB does not display those dutch subs.
You have to do it manually.

I tried it. Bad luck then.

i am talking about the dutch TXT-subs.

page 695 is the dutch subtitle

2SUB does not recognize this subtitle
because it has no language marker,or something like that.

What i like,is to add more outline to these subs.
As you can see there is a little shadow,
but i like to add an outline
so the subs can easily be read on a white background.

I have the idea it must be possible somewhere in the skin.xml
but am not sure about it,and not sure where exactly.

Es ist ja Geschmackssache.

wie Du selber schon festgestellt hast, ist das Geschmackssache und es gibt halt einige (unter anderem mich) denen das so besser gefaellt wie vorher.
