    bug found and verified:
    External subtitles (.srt) does not work with MKV or AVI movies using the Media Player. I tried to convert the subtitle to UTF-8 as well with the same result. The subtitle can be selected using the TEXT button and it says "running" but no text is shown on the screen.

    Made some research online and read that it's a bug in the gstreamer component being used. Is it possible to upgrade the component to the CVS version (where the bug is supposed to be fixed) and try it out or make a workaround somehow?

    Ah, great news :) One thing I really really want in that one is the external subtitles (srt) to display when playing mkv files. I read that it's fixed in the newest release from DMM. Is that one considered (holding my breath)?

    Other than that, the image rocks bigtime. Thanks a lot for the nice work with it!

    yes it is fixed and it is in our new image ;) dont wanna tell u more at this time. u have to wait sorry :P

    Haha nice! :D Any info on about when you're about to release it?
    I'm a developer and know what it's like to state anything about time frames as well, it's safer to say "when it's done". But I'm sooo curious and anxious about it so got to ask anyways :freu:

    last days onlineupdate doesnt send box to full reboot, just GUI restart
    in that case not started stuff from /etc/rc3.d/S*** such as my own made

    so many files are downloaded/overwrote which arent changed(enigma2.sh; skin files; etc),
    for me as two box user that isnt big trafic, but for NN2 feed dont think current update way is optimal
