dish problem

    • dish problem

      Hello,
I have Dm 500 HD , Optibox 3800 HH and Newnigma 3.1.3 version.
I try to view some channels from AstraAstra 1E/4A - 4.8°E but the dish is moved to Astra 3A/3B - 23.5°E. I don't use any custom settings but the newnigma settings.

Hi mate ,you must put the right tuner configuration on ,like your latitude and longitude west north what ever is you location then save and that's is ,see how is and coming back here we sort out no problem !

    • Hi,

Thanks you your quick answer. Well, I use Diseq protocol not USALS, my dish is going correctly to Eurobird 28,2 E, to Astra 19,2, Hotbird Astra 23,2 but not to Astra 4,8. I will try to use USALS and after that I give you the results.

      Best regards,

Hi mate, the best way to zapping on satellites is using USALS (Universal Satellites Automatic Location System) but if the dish has been install on first time with Diseq protocol that means is not spot on install for USALS ,when you put the latitude & longitude the dish need realignment again, then if you re fix again the dish with USALS after is spot on,for 5°E — Astra 4A (Sirius 4) I don't know your location but this satellite need big dish ,I can pick-up the Visat providers with 50% quality with 1m dish and I am living in west U.K,so look here for footprint --> which size dish you need h..p://www.satbeams.com/footprints/
