@Sparksofinsanity yes, binary is present under /usr/sbin/ but these files /etc/init.d/rdate and /etc/rcS.d/S41rdate comes only after rdate.ipk install

@kati910 dont like that solution, there will be problems with start oscam when systemtime isnt set at box start then anyway we will need start it once at system boot /etc/rcS.d>S41rdate what propably works, problems with reboot comes when file /etc/enigma2/timeserver.cfg is present script /etc/init.d/rdate doesnt touch /etc/enigma2/timeserver.cfg, it has addreses predefined in it and it is working problems with reboot box(dm8k; dm800se)

YES, you are right have copyed /etc/enigma2/timeserver.cfg ftom another box and problem is back ?!?! interestin how then box have corect systemtime when rdate doesnt work and E2 config contan parameter `config.misc.useTransponderTime=false`

in last week several times have got case when call reboot from menu comes frezed picture and nothing more till power switched off/on fixable by 1. make backup copy of all /etc/enigma2/ content 2. call from menu `Factory reset` 3. when comes first start wizard dont touch any option and copy back old /etc/enigma2/ files to the box and turn off/on power that means problem isnt in E2 settings file but something else ... interesting what exact files are overwrote by `Factory reset`???

@djmastera2000 you have to wait, DMM will find some way to disable that features in other case who will buy ther dm8000 and dm7020hd Avermedia A850 doesnt work on dm800 with any drivers now, tryred SifTeam's or NN2
