Would like to know if the latest Newnigma Image for DB 8000 incorporates the driver for the latest Twin silicon Tuner Si2166b. When I inserted the Tuner I got a reading of ''EMPTY TUNER.''

If I require to view IPTV. What do I need to download. I have Newnigma Latest Image for my Dreambox 800se

Any idea why when I tried to remove the 'Browser' I got a message saying -- IPKG error Status : Collected Error!

Just to add further information here...I have replaced my old Tuner BCM4505 back again in my 800se and immediately the above mentioned channels showed a normal healthy SNR with picture clearing immediately. So there is something that is not YET software wise right with the the new Tuner.

No, I have noticed it from the beginning. In fact I uploaded another channel list (Vhannibal's) and still the same answer on these particular Channels. Then I gave the box another Image ...The original Dream Multimedia Image supplied by 'Joey' on thread Nr.10....and still the same conclusion. Here are some of those channels...perhaps somebody with the same Tuner can check out. The four channels with ‘0’db which I happened to check are: CBS Europa HD, (Freq 12284H) BBC Brit HD, (Freq 12476H) and …

Another thing I have noticed is that certain Frequencies especially I believe HD's ones are showing 0db 'tuned failed' on different Satellites, also certain other frequencies are showing a rather reduced SNR. Perhaps this Tuner still needs more software attention.

I more often than not have this problem with my DB800se - That I get the message that the flash is full when I try to download something like for example a skin or Cam. At present my Flash is 57 MB out of 59MB and Memory is 126MB out of 131MB. My question is can I remove some unused items to free up more memory and please from where? Naturally I am using newnigma Image, the latest.

I have just tried to use blind-scan and I get the message that this '''Tuner does not support 'Blindscan''' but I know that it is capable of doing Blind-scan because Dream Mulimedia site stipulates so - ''The new Twin-DVB-S2 tuner design by Silicon Labs not only allows you to perform a blind scan with the Dreambox, it will also perform channel scans at a speed hitherto unseen''. So is it because I am using the 'unstable Image' that I am getting this message.

It's OK. Thanks a lot mate. I used the unstable image which you pointed out to me and the tuner got recognized immediately, so it was a matter of not having the right image. Again tks a lot you saved the day

Even with the latest because I updated the box to the latest NewNigma LEAN v 4.0.12 and also momentarily tried OpenPli - 4.0 -Beta of the 13.10.2015. but still the same answer of No tuner detected.

Hi I have just bought and inserted my new Twin silicon Tuner in my Dreambox 800se (not V2) but the box does not recognize it. The message of ''No tuner in A'' comes out. Since I am using a NewNigma Image, is it compatible with this Tuner. Any help would be appreciated very much.
