got a problem with newnigma2 3.1xx

after i had it updated it finds only around 60 channels on the astra3 23,5 degrees.

alreaydy tried to replace the satellites xml with a generated one from satellites-xml.eu and with the reinhard latest , after replacing i rebooted the box and still around 60 channels.

placed it in etc/enigma2 and in the etc/tuxbox

but i got problems not only with scanning 23,5 astra but on all 8 satellites i receive

also the dir etc/satellites.xml is not accessible trough ftp , anyone esle encoutered this problem?

why the xml two times? etc/enigma2 is wrong.

maybe your dish isn't aligned exactly or your lnb is broken or cables, or connectors, ....

it is alligned properly , and a broken lnb? all 8 then at the same time
cabel broken then it finds nothing ( electrician with quite some experience on the satscene )
other dm finds the sd channels , the 8000 doesn't find all channels even not when switching cables

No , it has to do something with the xml file because if for example i upload a new satellites.xml then
on the sam sat 23,5 for example , it finds only 28 channels instead of 60, after uploading another file it finds 48 an replacing it with reinhards gives me 60 on 23,5 degrees

for some reason it doesn't seem to load all the tp settings only the ones which are srewed up in the factory defaults

yes then it picks up the channels but missing on the astra1 19.2 on autoscan 600 channels, alot to scan manually.

and i can load channel lists by ftp but i'm setting up a motorized dish also , and it would be handy not to scan them automatically . for sone reason it doesn't scan all tp's in the xml file . and with 8 satellites that are alot of tp's around400.

currently i have a T90 with 8 lnb's but the dm8000 will be connected soon to a motorized T88 .

Ok , found the problem .

the only satellites xml working for me is the Reinhard file.

all the others doesn't work and give the same problem with missing transponders.

Loaded the reinhard satellites xml and now it finds all channels again.

And for you Blefarine.

the first 4 sats you set to input1 AA AB BA BB
The other four sats you have to set to input2 AA AB BA BB

and if using a wavefrontier T90 make sure the sub reflector is mounded right.

The first time i installed it I placed the sub reflector upside down.
