USB CI (common interface) support?

Does current newnigma2 support USB CI slot like these ones?

Or do you know another good one? I would like to use it for Irdeto module on DM800 or DM800se.

the mostly used USB Smartcard reader on the Dream ist the Smargo Reader -> klickme

I use 2 of them an it works well, for more information for smargo & Dreambox use the boardseach -> smargo

Thank you. I already have a USB reader on FTDI chipset which works well with my dreambox.

But, I really look for USB CI for Irdeto module for new type of Skylink Irdeto card (0624)

Any information about support of such devices on Newnigma2 ?

Hi,

The CI hardware itself decrypts the full TS stream.
So this means the full TS stream must be passed over USB to the CI and back to the box.
I do not think any box out there currently can handle USB data fast enough.

@ jenisqay if you use oscam, you can use this card full in cryptoworks-mode, just configure with cw-id 0D96, with Irdeto mode not everything works fine, jet...
