Dreambox 8000 hangs up

      hi all
      over the past week my dm8000 hangs up and all communication with the box is impossible.
      the remote controll does not work, telnet does not react and also webif is unreachable.
      the channel being viewed continues to show if it is fta.

      i have to power off the box and restart. after a few hours it happen again.
      version 3.12 was installed since it came out, nothing else has changed.

      i reinstalled the image but the same problem exists.
      i downloaded any system updates but the problem is still there.

      Anyone else with this issue??

      Any ideas what I can do?

      I have already done the update today.
      unfortunately it did not help, it has hung up again.

    • Anyone out there that has a clue why this suddenly happens.
      As far as I have found out it happens to most images and most of the DMM box models.
      And it all started at 1 May on images that has been stable for a long time.
      Is it some sort of “time bomb” in the code from DMM ?(

      "Unfortunately, there has been a problem in all current software version of enigma2 which resulted in freezing boxes since last night. DMM just released updated drivers which can be installed using the update mechanism in enigma2. Please update your software!"
