      Can someone tell me how the boot from CF function works in Newnigma?
      Is the image completely booted from the CF or is it starting the kernel from flash and is there is switch after that?
      I am asking because some people are claiming that the 7025 isn't technically capable of booting from another device then the internal flash.

      Use the unstable Image or use the 3.2 image and update to 3.2.1 after installing on CF card.

      Flash the Image
      Run the Install wizard Channel search …
      Don’t install any Plugins and Skins
      Shutdown the Box
      Inster the CF card
      Start the box and go to the Device Manager
      Select the option Image to CF Card
      This will take several minutes, please wait and do nothing.
      Reboot the Box
      Now you can install Plugins and Skins.

      I know how to use it, it works perfectly. What I would like to know is how it works internally. Or can someone point me to the sourcecode of the Newnimga2 plugins?

      The NN² image boots completely from CF-Card (kernel and driver)
      The NN² source is non public.
      You will see on the lcd display /cf/vmlinux

      Booting from CF-card/USB-drive is a feature from the secondstageloader.
      It is available on all Enigma 2 boxes.

      Ok, the questions is:

      What exactly happens, when you use "copy image to cf" in the device manager?
      Ok, the whole flash content is copied to cf, that's clear.
      After that the secondstage loader needs to be told to boot from cf, not internal flash anymore.

      Where is that setting, and how can I change it manually?

      I'm trying to boot my 7025 from the CF but It dont appears on:

      What I'm doing wrong??(

      The version on the flash it's the 3.2
