I am pretty new to this . I purchased DM800SE from my friend and the device info is as below.

Is this is the latest version and do you have any link where it guides me with steps on how to flash to latest version.

Stable release (OE16): DM 800 HD se: Newnigma2 v3.3.2

Unstable release (OE2): feed.newnigma2.to/unstable/4.0/images/ (unstable, because DMM hasn't released stable OE2 yet; firmware is stable anyway, but CAN still contain bugs because in active development; nevertheless is this the preferred image in the meantime, because OE16 development dropped)

- shutdown DM800SE
- unplug all USB devices!

flashing with Browser:
turn on your Box and press the frontbutton until **STOP** and the Box IP is shown on the display

if second stage loader #83 is still on the box, flash secondstage-dm800se-84.nfi first

use firefox portable 3.6.28 for this, most latest brwoser versions will not work with second-stage-loader #83
FF portable could be installed beside standard FF

flashing with dreamup:
- install USB to UART drivers from DMM Homepage
- connect PC and the Dreambox (USB Service port)
- start dreamup by using the correct COM port, which is shown in the devicemanager on your computer (and the BOX IP, which is shown on the display of your SE if your want to flash over network)
- press the connect button
- turn on DM800SE

After installing the unstable version for some reason the EMU is not working is there a way I can roll back to stable version of 3.3 .. I searched for a image and I don't seem to get

Bin neu hier. Das flashen über den Browser geht bei mir nicht. Meine Box:

Dazu habe ich das newnigma2-release-dm800se-v3.3.2.nfi hier runter geladen und wollte es nun drüber bügeln. Aber leider geht dies nicht über den Browser.

Wo könnte das Problem liegen?

Internet Explorer nehmen, ggfs. im Kompatibilitätsmodus den aktuellen SSL flashen, dann erneut in Flashmodus wechseln, dann kannst du das Image nehmen und via aktuellen Browser flashen:

Danke erst mal für die Hilfe. Jedoch geht mit sämtlichen Browsern nichts. Nach drücken des Buttons "Flash!" passiert nichts. Auch bein Versuche den SSL #84 Loader zu flashen passiert nix. Ich hab aus meinen "Humi"-Zeiten noch ein RS-232 Kabel. Soll ich es damit versuchen?

Hab mal die newnigma2-unstable-dm800se-26_06_2013 geflasht um zu sehen, was alles neu ist. Meine Frage nun:

Wie flash ich wieder zurück? Denn es kommt nun die Meldung, dass das image (Newnigma2 v3.3.2) älter sei als das auf der Box.

Hallo Kollegen

Ich setze ein Newnigma2 v3.3.2 auf mehreren DM800se ein.
Alles ist super, Die Boxen laufen gut.

ABER, als die Internetseite hier down war, sind meine Boxen nicht mehr hochgefahren.
Irgendwann beim Booten sind sie eingefrohren. Nach ca, 15 min (gefühlten) waren sie dann aber doch wieder oben.

Ich habe daraufhin alle automatischen Updates deaktiviert. Leider ohne Erfolg.
Dieses Problem trat auf allen Boxen auf.

Hat einer eine Ahnung was das soll?
