I just don't get what's all the fuss about these new unstable oe2 images.
I've never been an early adopter and with my unmodified dm 500HD I'm more than happy with my newnigma 3.3.2 image that does everything I need and which has plenty of features some of them I even can't be bothered with. It's stable with hardly any crashes and has plenty of support here even for a non german speaking guy like me.
I'm sure newnigma will launch an official stable oe2 image for the dm 500 HD when they think it's time but until then, just enjoy what your box is capable of at the present time.
