      Hallo Zusammen,

      gibt es ein Plugin, welches mir hilft die Netzwerksicherheit zu erhöhen?
      Ich habe eine Dream8000 und mein Heimnetz offen an Port 443 für Fernzugriff. Natürlich mit einem starkem Passwort geschüzzt.

      Trotzdem kommt es hin und wieder mal vor, dass die Port gescannt werden und leite probieren sich von extern auf der Dream einzuloggen.
      Leider scheint es so, dass die Dream keine Zwangspause hat, wenn man x-mal versucht hat ein falsches Passwort einzugeben?

      Gibt es ein entsprechendes Plugin (oder eine andere Modifikation, die nach einem SW Update erhalten bleibt), mit dem ich die Anmeldeversuche auf 3 beschränken kann und danach einige Minuten alle anderen Versuche blockiere?

      Woran siehst du das? Hast du irgendwelche Logs?
      Das Thema an sich interessiert mich aber auch, da ich auch einen https Port geöffnet habe um mit meinem Smartphone Aufnahmen von unterwegs zu programmieren.
      Ein entsprechendes PW ist ebenfalls gesetzt.
      Aber ich denke mal außer auf VPN umzurüsten wird es da nichts geben, außer irgend jemand schreibt ein entsprechendes Script für killban oder so.

    • Naja, da man übers webif auch flashen und sw installieren kann, hat man mal schnell einen spam mailer aus der Dream gezaubert. Außerdem ist es ein nettes Einfallstor ins private Netz. Es gibt halt Leute die mehr machen als Fernsehen.

      Einen anderen Port zu wählen bringt nicht viel, denn die Attacken starten meist mit einem Portscann. Gerade wenn Ihr dyndns oder eine fixe IP adresse habt, solltet Ihr mal in die Logfiles Eurer Router schauen. Ich denke viele werden erstaunt sein, wer da was so alles probiert.

      Der Grund für die Nachfrage war ein aktueller Versuch von außen eine Wörterbuchattacke gegen den https port zu fahren. Das Logfile zeigt mehrere tausend loginversuche auf der box.
      Meine NAS (läuft unter Debian) hat ein solches Plugin, mit welchem ich die Anzahl der Loginversuche von einer IP-adresse limitieren kann.

      Ich denke das wäre für viele Dreamuser ein gutes Feature

      Das halte ich fuer ein Geruecht, ein Portscan ueber alle 65535 Ports dauert viel zu lange. Die Intention der Scriptkiddys ist es, schnell und einfach einen offenen Rechner zu finden, von dem aus sie weiter operieren koennen.
      Meinst Du die machen sich pro Host die Muehe erst mal gemuetlich einen vollen Portscan durchzufuehren, um dann die einzelnen offenen Ports noch mal gesondert mit Bruteforce Script anzugreifen? Ich denke eher nicht, dafuer gibt es zu viele ungeschuetzte Default Systeme im Netz.
      Mit umlegen des Ports bekommst Du schon mal 98% aller Anfragen weg. Wenn Dir jemand etwas Boeses will, dann hilft Dir das natuerlich nichts. Derjenige wird sich natuerlich Zeit fuer Dich persoenlich nehmen und nach Schwachstellen suchen, incl. vollem Portscan. :)
