to access the Cccam infos from the WAN, you have to open port 16001 on your router and forward it to port 16001 of your dreambox. Then you and everyone else are able to access the website via your.dyndnsadress.com:16001/.

you can use passwort authentification with cccam

you need remote axx to telnet.
plz use VPN.

remote ports (ie Web/Telnet ....) are realy insecure.

change your root password, forward port 22 to your DM800 and use the ssh protocol

What's unsafe about the ssh-protocol?

Its a fully crypted connection....

After login over ssh to your DM800, just type "reboot", and your box cycles down...

I support Jerkball's statement. I don't know about Enigma1, but I guess you connect to the webinterface there and do a restart? It will be much more secure to set up a crypted ssh-connect, you will be able to login then an do either a reboot of the box or just restart the cam (kill the process if necessary and restart cccamd)
