Difference between newnigma 4.05 image and 4.05 lean image

Hello,

I want to know what the difference is between the normal and the lean image. I ask this because if I download the normal image then all of a sudden the flash memory gets full. Can somebody tell me if the lean image is smaller in download size?
And if it makes any difference between the two images in terms of performance?

a lean image is a "light" image .. without drivers, hbbtv, webbrowser and other stuff.

so u have more space to use. but u can re-install all missing stuff, if you need it

The lean image is a smaller image for the small boxes (800, 800se, 500hd).
