Advanced Audio Settings for DreamOS

      das Plugin ist ja jetzt schon auf der Box /Image Erweiterte Einstellungen .

      Nun meine Sonos Arc Sondbar ist mit der TWo angeschlossen und einem Samsung Q90 Series.
      Wo ist der unterschied zu Durchreichen oder AC3folgen unter DTS ..Dts-HD HR/dts und Dolby True HD Dolby Atmos .

      Was soll ich am besten einstellen vielen Dank

      PS oder bin ich voll auf dem Holzweg ;(

      ich hab auch ein kleines Problem bzw. vielleicht ist es auch nochmal. Ich habe eine Dreambox Two und möchte eine mkv Datei mit DTS Sound abspielen. Dieses klappt leider nur, wenn ich auf Downmix umstelle. Ich möchte aber vermeiden jedesmal auf Downmix umzustellen. Bei einer DM 920 wird das ohne Downmix umstellen abgespielt bzw. auch ohne Plugin.

      Ist das normal oder mache ich was falsch? Die Box hängt an einer Yamaha Soundbar dran.

      2 - Wenn ich dieses Plugin installiere, zeigt der AV-Receiver dann Dolby TrueHD und DTS-HD Master Audio auf dem Bildschirm an, wenn ich ein 4K-UHD-Video mit Dreambox MediaCenter und Kodi abspiele? Ich beziehe mich auf dieses MediaCenter:

      3 - Erhalte ich HDR mit MediaCenter und Kodi? (Wenn ich mich nicht irre, werden HDR10, HLG und Dolby Vision von der Dreambox One Combo Ultra HD unterstützt, aber es gibt einige Enigma2-Receiver, bei denen HDR mit Kodi nicht funktioniert)

      Dolby TrueHD und DTS-HD Master Audio kommt an, auch ohne Plugin.

      Is this plugin already pre-installed in the latest newnigma2 image for Dreambox One Ultra HD Combo? I’m talking about this image:

      Do you only need to install it if you use the Factory Image? I think I understood that with that image it is not in the feed and with the newnigma2 image it is or it comes already pre-installed as I said. In the first post of this thread it is said that this plugin is for DreamOS (I think DreamOS and opendreambox are the same. It seems to me that this is the image that the Dreambox has when you buy it but I have not been able to find out yet). Excuse me, I do not understand German well and this Dreambox would be my first experience with an Enigma2 receiver. Therefore, I need to be sure.

      1 Yes. The name is opendreambox and is also called DreamOS.

      2 No. After installing this plugin, you will not see dts-hd ma or dolby truehd on your av receiver's display. You will see: stereo. This happens with Kodi and also with the media player in the mani menu. If you don't install this plugin, you won’t have any audio if you try to play a video with a lossless audio. This is how it works.

      3 Only HDR10 and HLG with the media player in the mani menu. Kodi for Dreambox is a cut-down Kodi version made by emanuel and does not support any HDR.

      That plugin does not come pre-installed.

    • Forget about dolby truehd on Kodi with a Dreambox, is not available as passthrough. With that plugin Kodi can't play dolby truehd properly.

      Without that plugin you only hear silence, with that plugin sound is there but when you play something with dolby truehd the av receiver reports that as stereo.

      The vast majority of people who use a Dreambox do so without an av receiver and therefore cannot verify what they are hearing.

      Ich würde gerne nochmal nachfragen zum Advanced Audio Settings for DreamOS
      kann man das Manuell installieren beimir ist es Grün hinterlegt aber O kb in Erweiterungen?
      Und mit meiner neuen Samsung Q 995 GDSurroundanlage /TWO bekomme ich keinen DTS Ton abgespielt?
      Irgendetwas habe ich falsch gemacht?

      Welche Einstellungen hat du denn gewählt?
      Und meinst du du hörst gar nichts?
      Manche Videos enthalten etwas seltsame inkompatible DTS Tonspuren, die müsstest dann erst reparieren.
      Aber das ist kein generelles Problem DTS funktioniert prinzipiell.

      Ac3 Standard >aus
      AC3 Downmix >aus

      Das systemplugins-advancedaudiosettings finde ich wo ? Da ist mein Fehler sry
