How to update image from Newinigma2 v4.01 5201-60-10

Hello.

I Have DM800HD. Long time didn't updated the image.
Is there any instructions to jump from my old Newinigma2 v4.01 5201-60-10 (Enigma2: 2015-12-30 tarball) to the latest version?

Hi @k_dov1

you cam flash with dreamUP flashen or webinterface,
with the webinterface , when your dm800 connected to a Router.

Webinterface flashen:

you can peform the update in one go.

you can try this workaround first instead of flashing
it should still work if there is enough free flash memory (5-6MB)

download newnigma2-feedupdate2weekly_1.0_mips32el-nf.ipk from this thread and move it to the /tmp folder of the box via FTP

upgrade the image to the latest weekly image:

opkg install /tmp/*feedupdate*.ipk
opkg update
opkg upgrade
shutdown -r now

you can also flash the latest weekly image instead of ugrading the current image
