I would like to switch HDMI output of my Dreambox One Ultra HD receiver to 1920x1200 video resolution mode, because this is the native resolution of my monitor. How can I do this? I tried to change Linux file contents related to current video resolution but was not able to save anything.

But my monitor distorts the screen, extending it vertically to fit the LCD screen height 1200 points. The monitor does not allow to adjust it so I thought I could change the video resolution of the dreambox to be the same as the native resolution of the monitor. Is this possible to keep 16:9 ratio of the screen, having the black stripes at the top and at the bottom of the screen like it is in Windows? How about changing the aspect ration to 16:10?
