      Could the softcam MgCamd or other handle more than 2 recordings at the time.

      Or perhaps I should ask what if i have 2 more DVB-S(2) tuners in my DM8000 so a total of 4 tuners is it then possible to record 3 channels and watch 1 channels or record 4 channels?
      And I am talking about all channels on different transponders/satellites.

      Is there some limitation in software or hardware for doing this?

    • Since you seem to own a 8000, why not give it a go & test if the things you ask is possible?

      Its should work ok, i do not know about mgcamd´s multichannel decoding capabilities though (i got a 800 here and i am a long time user/ big fan of mgcamd though).

      Test with some FTA channels first, ok? and let us know how it goes.
