Out of the box DM100 not working.

I bought a new DM100 to have in my kids room.
But when i plugged it in I got red and green led on, fine I was thinking but nothing on the TV connected the USB to my PC and it gave it a COM port started the loader program and it connected to the DM100 but download and upload failed.
So it will be returned.
Is this just bad luck or is the DM100 crap compared to other Dreamboxes?

My second DM100 failed after 24 hours.
Is the DM100 some kind of Made in China crap?

Newnigma team does not make software of anything else for DM100, so case closed.
