      hi all
      I have dreambox 8000hd with newnigma 2.8 installer ,
      I bought recently smargo smartreader+ I read in lot of board about smart card there is command to add in cccam.cfg
      I add this to cccam.cfg
      SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/1 smartreader+
      CAMKEY: /dev/usb/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
      CAMKEY: /dev/usb/tts/1 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

      but it dont detect card still no card in cccam

      I cant find any setting under newnigma image to config smargo

      I try deferent setting under windows tool smartreader.exe autoswith fixed with deferent mhz..... but no success .

      anybody can help me with working setting and what I must do I will really appreciate

      I want run viaccess card I try both cards Jazeera sport+ hotbird and ART horbird too both are ciaccess

      can u tell please if u have dm8000 if there is any config to do in newnigma image like gemini go to extra setting kernel setting and set on smart card reader something like that.

      and for windows tool what is the best config :
      Mode
      Kernet
      T-mode
      EGT
      I use dreambox as cccam server so depend only in dreambox
      and if the command above is correct or no because I note some confuse in few lines
      CAMDATA: /dev/usb/tts/1 or
      CAMDATA: /dev/tts/0 or
      CAMDATA: /dev/ttyusb0
      for this reason I apreciate alot a help from dm8000 owner with smargo to advise me what do exactely first in smargo windows tool and in cccam.cfg command
      and another command:
      Smartcard clock frequency: /dev/ttyusb0 6000000 or
      Smartcard clock frequency: /dev/tts/0 6000000 or
      Smartcard clock frequency: /dev/usb/tts/0 6000000
      this frequence must be the same as in smart reader tool so if I choose fixed 3.69mhz I must put
      Smartcard clock frequency: /dev/ttyusb0 3690000

      I am really frustrated about this confuse even I try all setting I dunno if I must reboot box for every change or just restart emu but no success I have to see this in cccam info
      card reader /dev/tts/0
      no or unknown card inserted

      I just have a DM800 and no viacess card, I don´t know if this work same on DM8000
      try this;
      SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
      CAMDATA: /dev/usb/tts/0
      Smartcard clock frequency: /dev/usb/tts/0 6000000

      sorry maybe I´m wrong but just try it

      first the both internal slots are full
      second I use barry allen to use multi image so I am using newnigma and compact flash , so I am using gemini in internal flash . I am very happy with newnigma and really satisfied with it in compact flash cause alot of space.

      so what can I do please

      Hi,
      its a known problem by using NN2 in Multiboot, just put NN2 in flash and everything works fine.

      you can try to copy the usb2serial driver from your flash image to NN2 should works too

      can u explain me how to copy usb2serial driver from flash image to NN2, I really want keep this parameter , so please need more details which file need to copy from where to where? u mean from gemini in internal flash ? wish files where can I find them?
