hi cant get the diseqc to work on the 2.8 gone back to 2.7

without giving any information from your side nobody can help seriously.
"it dows'n work" ist too little.

maybe you made wrong adjustments? please compare old and new settings

i use 9 LNB's on my dreambox - no problems here

I suggest you have saved your settings on a usb stick in version 2.7 and after reinstalling with that settings it is not working in 2.8?

I had the same problem.

I solved the problem by using the point "restore factory settings". After that, I did again the reinstallation of my saved settings on the usb stick and all my previous diseqc settings are as well working in version 2.8
