you developers… 
I have been running 2.8.3 and the DM8000 (DVD-RW, HDD, Flash card, DVB-T cards) box have had and uptime of 24 days despite extensive use. My family use is extensively with DVD burning, CIFS networking, remote web watch of TV etc (no system restarts at all).
As 2.8.3 have been absolutely fantastic, I was thinking of not upgrade at all. But I couldn't stay at 2.8.3 gaaahhhh
So I upgraded to 2.8.4, a simple reboot and voilá… Works absolutely perfect again.. (Have tested all of the above used on 2.8.3).
(One thing though… SDHC cards is still a problem and refuse to work)
Thank you developers for the high quality. That is why you should you Newnigma2 and not any other image
