      • update drivers 23.06.2010:

        dm800/dm8000/dm500hd:
        - PCR fixes (i.e. fixes the dm800 HDMI connection lost problem)

        - improved fan speed tacho readout a bit

      • neues plugin:
        wir haben rytec epg auf unseren feeds hinzugefuegt. klickt hier fuer mehr informationen
        ihr koennt das plugin ganz einfach ueber die softwareverwaltung installieren (achtung das plugin heisst nicht rytec epg sondern enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport).
        installiert es via console mit opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport. vielleicht muesst ihr vorher auch ein "opkg update" machen.

      • dvd:
        wir haben das dvdabspielen seit der version 3.0 verbessert. nun muesste alles besser laufen.

      • neuer sambaserver 3.5.3:
        dieser sambaserver funktioniert nun auch mit windows 7.

      • skins:
        wir haben hier viele sachen geaendert. fuer die skins gibt es nun eine variable cryptinfo. in den meisten skins koennt ihr nun waehlen was ihr angezeigt
        bekommen moechtet wie z.b. satposition, kanalnummer, crypticon oder crypttext (crypticons ist in den meisten skins nicht verfuegbar). die anzeige des naechsten
        ist nur in den folgenden skins verfuegbar: newnigma2-HD/newnigma2.new/DMConcinnity-HD. wir arbeiten aber daran dieses in die meisten skins einzufuegen.
        die ganzen einstellungen koennt ihr ueber das expertenmenu machen >> drueckt die blaue taste -> newnigma2 services -> systemeinstellungen -> expertenmenu

      • fixes and updates (ihr muesst die plugins installieren, die sind nicht im image enthalten):
        - kernelupdate for dreamdts (dtsdownmix)
        - added merlin epg on feed
        - added enigma2-plugin-extensions-2lang

        - added enigma2-plugin-extensions-2subconf
        - added enigma2-plugin-extensions-cccaminfo (vielleicht wird es durch die neue cryptinfo nicht mehr gebraucht)

      • multiboot:
        no support for multiboot. Not planned, not wanted.



      WICHTIG

      ihr koennt einfach von 3.0 via softwaremanager oder console auf 3.0.1 updaten. es koennte bei den esata festplatten zu einigen problem kommen. wir empfehlen netzwerkspeicher
      oder usb-festplatten.

        You can install this plugin easily via softwaremanager (this plugin is named enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport, bot Rytec epg) or
        install it via console: opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport. Maybe you first have to make an "opkg update".

      • dvd:
        some changes for dvdplaying made. dvd's should now work better then in 3.0.

      • new sambaserver 3.5.3:
        this version works now fine with windows 7.

      • skins:
        we have changed some things in our skins. now we have a variable cryptinfo for our skins. in most skins you can now choose
        what you want: satposition, channelnumber, crypt-icons or crypt-text (maybe crypt-icons are not avaible for all skins). next event is only available in
        newnigma2-HD/newnigma2.new/DMConcinnity-HD skins (we are working on it to put it in all skins).
        You can select all this in our expert menu >> press blue button -> newnigma2 services -> system tools -> expert menu

      IMPORTANT

      you can update from 3.0 to 3.0.1, no flashing needed. update via softwaremanager or console. Since the new kernel esata can cause some problems. it is better to use network attached storage or usb hdd's.

    • Hallo,

      ich hatte zuvor Newnigma 3.0 drauf und habe nun über Telnet ein Update gemacht:
      init 4, dann "update" und wenn das fertig ist am Ende "reboot"

      Nun kommt im Webinterface der DM500 HD folgende Meldung:

      Müßte da nicht Enigma Version 2010-06-30 stable erscheinen? Hat das Update auf 3.0.1 also nicht geklappt?!?

    • Subtitles option gone in menu

      Dear all,

      I hope i can write in English here, answer in German is OK for me (I had 4 years German at school in the Netherlands), I can understand German, but writing is difficult especially technical. I noticed that after installing 3.01 the option Subtitles is gone from the main menu (normally first item). After flashing back to 3.00 it is back again, I need this function to use subtitles from stream movies etc. Why is this, is there an error or just a chance with a reason I don't see?
      For the rest I am extremely happy with all Newnigma releases so i like to have 3.01 also but need to find out how to use subtitle function now..

      Thanks a lot for this simple but important answer! I guess I would never found it myself, this chance to move subtitles to the Audio button. Even more important this is off course a better position so another step forward! This way you don't have to enter the main menu itself.

      Habe jedoch eine kleinigkeit bemerkt.

      ich habe meine Picons auf der HDD, jedes Mal, wenn ich an der Dreambox was mache,
      sprich:

      -Skin Wechsel oder Settings neu einspiele.

      Sind die Picons nicht mehr sichtbar.

      In dem Expert Menü ist alles deaktiviert.

      Ansonsten funtzt alles 1A.

    • Nachdem der 500HD das gelungen ist, was der 800er versagt blieb - den Sprung in mein Wohnzimmer :D....

      auch von mir ein danke für das 3.01, welches beim Vergleich der verschiedenen verfügbaren Images die Nase vorn hat!

      Frage am Rande: Warum zeigt der newnigma HD-Standardskin den Flash-Speicher nicht an?

    • Hallo Alle,
      Seit ca. 1 Woche teste ich Newnigma2-release-dm500hd-v3.0.1 und habe ich festgestellt, ein Paar Sachen passen nicht genau:
      1. Bei eingestellte Englische oder Russische Sprache, muss ich bei jeder Programmauswahl von den bulgarisch- übersetzten Sendern die Sprache oder Untertittel immer neu wählen. Also, es stellt sich die Sprache von selber wieder auf Englisch zurück.
      2. Wenn ich Filme von der externen SATA Festplatte schaue oder aufnehme, habe ich falsche Anzeige für den belegten RAM- Speicher, ca. 99% voll. Die Box funktioniert aber einwandfrei.
      3. Bei aktivieren des neuen Skins, stürzt die Enigma ab (siehe enigma2_crash_1278245114.log).
      Von allen ist das Problem Nr. 1 das schlimmste. Ich hoffe es wird bald gelöst :)
      P.s:
      Und noch etwas, wenn es sich der H-H Motor dreht, gibt es keine Anzeige, sondern Tunner- Fehler. Wenn die richtige Position kommt, ist die Fehlermeldung weg und das Program öffnet sich.

      Hello Guys,
      I hope I'm in the right place for this question.

      I just upgraded to 3.0.1 but now the DM500HD crashes all the time I can not record anymore and can not install or remove skins, I would like to go back to a previous version but when I try to downgrade via NAS, cant do it.

      Any thoughts????

    • dm500hd forgets settings

      Hi there,
      have a strange problem with the new firmware 3.0.1.
      If I cut the power to the dm500hd and starts it up again it has forgotten settings like audio, text, audio sync on every channel. It's very annoyning because I have to set it up again on like 50 chans.

      Does anyone have the same problem?

      Is was easier before where I used 2SUB for texting

      If you've made your settings please restart onlny GUI !!! After that your settings should be saved.
