How to install USB-T-stick on a Newnigma2 image?

    • hmmmm not really solved. when i reboot my dm800hd it does not come up immediately.the channels and dvbt tuner are ghosted. i have to unplug, plug it back and reboot. then it comes.

      also i noticed that when i install crossepg it does not come up at all. seems like i have to check /usr/bin/enigma2.sh.

      if anyone has an idea please get me posted

      I have the Newnigma2 v3.3.2, latest image, and I am trying to find and install drivers for my Technisat Airstar Telestick 2 DVB-T USB tuner and make it work. I know it has the DIB0700 chipset and it was working fine with Newnigma2 v3.1.1 (with TSPanel and ItalysatDTT plugins), but now with the v3.3.2 it doesn't work! I again download drivers for DIB0700, but then ItalysatDTT will never display the driver as "Installed", so that I can then "Enable" it.

      Therefore I guess I must do this manually. Can someone help me with this DVB-T USB tuner and the installation with the Newnigma2 v3.3.2 ?

    • Ok so this is what is happening...I start up my dm800hd. DVBt NOVA T is not present but dmesg shows me that drivers are installed. I unplug dvbt tuner and replug it. Dmesg shows me that hauppage nova t is in warm state (as in page 5). I restart gui and voila everything is working. Is there a workabout around this?

    • Actually I have found at Online packages -> USB-Tuner and installed the v4l for DIB0700, then restarted the DM800se, but nothing. Also tried and installed the v4l for Hauppauge Nova-T (which has the same chipset as the Technisat Airstar Telestick 2), but still nothing.... :(

      read carefull packages names in DjMastera2000 given link
      there arent only drivers packages v4l-dvb-***, last one is `extuner`

      but better chose usbtuner(same binary with different starting scripts) from point "7."

    • I have tried once with command line, probably I did something wrong, because Trial DVB-T appeared but would not work and my DVB-S functionality was ruined! Had to flash my image again to fix the problem!!

      Anyway, I have found the best possible way: Found and downloaded the Italydtt 1.0 updated version (and not the 0.5), followed instructions and everything fine!! I have now tuned all DVB-T channels!!! :)
      You can even choose for 2 Tuners or Twin DVB-T tuners with Italydtt 1.0, it is fantastic!

      However, for education purposes only, I would also like to know how I could do this with command line.

      No problem, wrong image version! Packages posted above work with latest stable! No need for other tools...

      Only one problem exists: you all don't read the threads carefully enough!

    • Already dmm have solved the issue creating new drivers if we install the last newnigma2 how we could install the new drivers for af9035 only changing feeds or something more ?

      PD: i have lost my vip account antrabe3 and i dont receive any new pass admin please could you recover my account antrabe3.

      Hi there

      Does anyone knows how to install and configure the usb tv tunner stick from PCTV?
      The product is 76e and as far as i know the chip should be RTL2832.
