Hi

After the 3.1.2 upgrade It seems I have problem playing .TS movies from my fileserver. mp4 and avi goes well...

Could anything be missing after this upgrade? If so... this is the first time an upgrade is not 100% ok.

Addition to post...

When trying to play these ".ts" files I can see a popup that says something about SID not found in PAT. Mot of these ".ts" files came from my old Topfield box.But they played PERFECT before newnigma2 3.1.2.

Anyone with a clue?

Update to unstable OR 3.1.2 ???

I have 3.1.2 already. The problem came with 3.1.2...

If this problem was introduced with 3.1.2. Is it possible to release a s.k "stable" supported update to correct it?

Hmmm. I do not see an option for opkg to change the feed. Is it as simple as editing official-feed.conf i /etc/opkg ?? What URL should be used then?

But if it's a matter ofdays or maybe a week I'll probably wait for an "official" update.

Is there a problem to go back to stable later? Is unstable = stable at any point so I can go back? I mean if you release a minor update to 3.1.2 in the near future I probably cannot go back to "stable" as I have a lot of newer packages installed when using unstable. Or.... ?

I'll wait for a "stable" update then...

Of course problems could come in both unstable and unstable (as we have seen here). But I assume the probability for problems in stable are not of the same magnitude as if I run unstable.

It's an annoying problem

Do you know what files that have to be replaced to fix this?

Asking as I think of just (if it's possible) picking the needed files from unstable so I can continue yo use stable when the upgrade comes... Hopefully it's possible to just replace a few files.....

The smallest I could find was 290MB. Here are a few.... For the 290MB file I also did a "head -50000 filename > newfile" so you can see the start of the file without downloading the whole file (it can be played in VLC as well).

These are .rec files renamed to .ts. They came from a Topfield box. I "think" it's just extra/different meta data at the beginning. But it is a ".ts" format. ALL tested programs play these perfect including the Newnigma2 3.1.1 and older... But 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 give the error I mention...
