      Hi to all. I tried to search for this but no succes. I have some mp4 high definition files I would like to stream from my PC to DM800. I use media player. When I press play, the movie starts for a split of a second (I see the first couple of frames), and the the screen blanks out, while DM becomes totally unresponsive, so I have to reset it!
      Is there a way of viewing such files via streaming? (HD mp4s)?

      mp4 works for me on my dm8000. To run on the fly from DM over a CIFS share as well. As I do not have a DM800 I cannot tell... But I would guess it should work on a DM800 too.
      Test no:1
      Try to copy it to the DM itself and try to play it locally so it's not a network or streaming issue.

      To have a better answer at this stage you have to get a reply from a developer or another DM800 user.

      Thank you for your suggestion - however as I do not have a hard disk I cannot really use it. As I am running other files with ease over network (e.g. mpg), I don't think it is a network issue. Thank you anyway

    • Hi,

      You do not need to mount - just plug in USB stick and you will see in Media Player file menu. I have NTFS file system on stick but maybe FAT also working - I did not tested.
