Now the last question to solve: during theese tests I installed both USBTunerBIN and extuner. Now with "ps" I see extuner running. Must I uninstall something? Do they make conflict with each other?
    • Original von oZxS
restart gui and take a look in the tunermenu

      ls -all /dev/dvb/

can u post me this output?

    • I see:
      TUNER A: BCM4505 (DVB-S2)
      Single
      Satellites: Hot Bird 13.0E

      TUNER B: Nova-T Stick (DVB-T)
      Enabled

I did dtt channels search and all works well.
If I install only drivers in nn2 feed (v4 and not v47) it doesn't work.

      @MartiniB
How the usbtuner pack can be used? How to start service once installed?
Why, according to you, it's better than extuner?

    • Hi zoltan,

could you please tell me, which stick is it:

      hauppauge.de/de/site/products/data_novatstick.html

      or

      hauppauge.fr/site/products/data_novathdstick.html

Because in germany we don't have (and will never have) HDTV over the air. So I guess this stick will never be sold in Germany (except some online stores for a very high price).

Mine is the second one, but the only difference between them is the included CD with software. You can buy the first and it will work for sure!!
      Bye
    • Got me a Hauppage NOVA-T stick also, and i had the same problem.
Been trying to find out what the problem was all day...

After a lot of re-flashes and reboots i made some progress.
In witch order the packages are installed seems to be crucial!
I finally composed a line that you can use in telnet :

      opkg install v4l-dvb-module-dib0090 v4l-dvb-module-dib7000m v4l-dvb-module-dib0070 v4l-dvb-module-dib8000 v4l-dvb-module-dib3000mc v4l-dvb-module-dibx000-common v4l-dvb-module-dib7000p v4l-dvb-firmware-dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20 v4l-dvb-module-dvb-usb-dib0700 v4l-dvb-module-dvb-usb v4l-dvb-module-dvb-core extuner

Execute it, and after a reboot the stick is working.! :D
(Also all those packs seem to be necessary to get the stick to work.)

      I'm using a Hauppage NOVA-T stick model 294 on a DM500HD with Newnigma 3.14.

However i noted that the installed packs are "R4", and when i look at the Sifteam feed i see "R55".
      addons.enigma2.sifteam.eu/drea…e/dm500hd/Packages.stamps
Those are the versions right.? (my Linux knowledge is very limited) is there a possibility to update your feed to those newer versions.?

Now i just have scanned the DVB-T channels, and see the channels give 0% SNR in the infobar, but AGC is working correct. (See screenshot)
The rest seems to work fine, just that i see the "turning wheels" blinking the first second i switch a channel. (have a feeling it has something to do with the EPG?)

Anyway, hope this info helps someone that is planning the same. 8)

It is necessary because the "-r4" driver included in newnigma feed hasn't the correct dependencies as the "-r55" sifteam one has.

As said before, it would be useful to update newnigma feed to the newer driver versions...how much time it need?
    • ok sorry, but 'I inform you that I failed to install, I downloaded all the drivers but nothing, is there any procedure for the Hauppage win tv nova hd?
I would not give up on this beautiful and too newnigma2
You can hope that the new versions the key is recognized by yourself?
