I run image 4.0.1 0201-40-50 om my DM8000
Saw that the 4.0.10 upgrade must be done through the console.
Do I expect to download a 4.0.10 tar.gz to the box, unpack it and update with opkg in a terminal or what ? Or is it simply the fact that 4.0.10 must be installed from scratch with bootp ? If so.. Then I totally misunderstand the info as the info clearly says upgrade and not reinstall. I would prefer to keep all settings.
Is "console" equals serial console, bootp over network (i.e reinstall) or just an SSH terminal???? Can someone please clarify the procedure.
