Hi,

Could someone please help me how to stop the 2 cogwheels appearing in the upper left corner exactly at every 5 minutes? It shows the spinning cogwheels animation for 1-2 sec. Not a big problem but very annoying.

Reboot does not help.When I disconnect the net cable it stops but of course, I want to be connected. The box is a DM 7020HD with the latest Newnigma2, if that matters.

Most likely, the "REC" button was accidentally pressed by a pile of books a few days ago. The recording path is pointing to a NAS drive on our home network. Since the NAS was switched off instead of being in standby, the box was keep on trying to access the NAS with 5 min intervals. That resulted in popping up of the spinning cogwheels on the screen. Still, it is unclear, why the box did not cancel accessing the NAS after several reboots (small software bug)? Or rather, a user's (=my) stupidity...

Conclusion: be careful with the "REC" button on the remote control.
