      Hallo Leute.

      Habe mir diese Woche eine gebrauchte Dreambox 800 gekauft. In der Artikelbeschreibung stand Technisch einwandfrei.
      Leider bekomme ich keine Reaktion an den USB Ports zwegs Dreambox Nano Wlan Stick, und auch der interne HDD Stromanschluss scheint keinen Saft abzugeben (Hdd dreht nicht an).

      An meinen beiden anderen DM800 klappt das mit dem WLAN Stick auf Anhieb.

      Was mich noch dazu wundert. Das ich kein Newnigma Image aufspielen kann. Nur welche die Unter 50 MB sind. OoZooN geht und das Merlin 3 auch. Die laufen dann auch, aber erkennen weder WLAN Stick noch USB Sticks am Port.
      Bei den Newnigma kommt nach dem Flash bzw. dem ersten Boot ein Green Screen mit "No space left on device". ?(

      Ein anderes Netzteil habe ich auch getestet, keine Besserung.

      "gebrauchte DM800" ist in Zeiten wie diese so eine Sache - da hast du gute Chancen ein Clone angedreht zu bekommen ...

      das WLAN Sticks nicht gleich erkannt werden, kann auch an fehlenden Treibern liegen.
      einfach per Telnet verbinden, USB oder WLAN Stick rein und dann dmesg in die Konsole eingeben, der kernel müsste den Stick zumindest erkennen - auch wenn er mangels Treiber noch nichts damit anfangen kann ...

      wg. der HDD: versuch meine eine Platte extern mit Strom zu versorgen und an den internen SATA Port oder per eSATA anzuschließen. Wenn es nur an der Stromversorgung liegt, müsste die Platte erkannt werden. Wenn nicht, hat woh das Mainboard ein Eck weg.

      Wg. dem nicht voll nutzbaren Flash: keine Ahnung, df -h würde mehr verraten. Zur Not könnte man von USB booten, wenn der Stick erkannt werden würde.

      Ich frag' mich nur, warum man eine gebrauchte DM800HD kauft, die längst in die Tage gekommen ist und noch dazu mit dem Risiko ein Clone zu erwischen, wenn man den Verkäufer nicht kennt. Eine nagelneue DM800SE V2 bekommt man für weit unter EUR 200,00. Aber das hilft dir jetzt natürlich auch nicht weiter.

    • Servus, es ist natürlich eine Originale Dreambox und für einfaches HD schauen reicht die mir auch.

      Das mit den WLAN Treibern habe ich schon ausprobiert. Leider reagiert ja nicht mal ein normaler USB Stick mit 2 GB an den Ports.
      Auch eine externe Festplatte (ohne externe Stromversorgung) reagiert an keinen USB Port. Normal müsste doch wenigstens die LED der Ex.HDD mal leuchten.

      Ich versuche das ganz mal mit Dream UP zu flashen.
      Leider keine möglich mit seriell zu flashen.

      Würde ein flashen per DREAM UP besser sein und die Funktion an USB und int. Strom beheben können ?

      Habe die Dreambox zurück geschickt.

      War wohl doch defekt.

      Elektriker hat die USB Ports durch gemessen und es kam gar nichts an, nicht mal untereinander.

      Naja, mal schauen ob ich auch die Kohle wieder bekomme.
