      Hi All
      sorry i cant speak german when activating wlan no problem all ok but when im not using my dm800 i always switch of power, and then when i switch back on i haveto manually reactivate the wlan is there away to save this configuration so that when i switch back on the wlan will activate

      Hi, I can´t help you, but you maybe can helping me ...

      I already tried everythink, but I can´t make my Wlan to work. :(

      I have DM800 and I tried many different images: Geminy 3.9-4.00, Newnigma2 2.2.3-2.3-2.3.1, Nabilosat E2 Black Hole - DM800 v0.7, LT Fifth SP5 DM800. I have a few USB Wlan Sticks: D-Link DWL-G122 ver:B1, FRITZ!Wlan usb Stick and A-QUIP 54M A/Wlan-1. But I don´t know how to make it work. Please any idea? ;(
      I don´t have any "Wireless network" options window... But I know it is can working...

      PS: In telnet commands "make" and "make install" does not work. Why?

      I have had similar issues like you have and found that if i reboot my wirless router then do a wizard network install it would work, but i only have this problem sometimes,it maybe the type of wirless unit you have,or the problem maybe with the encryption, sorry i cant help much more but mine now is generally working most of the time ,but under usb1 for card reader etc is ok but not reliable for streaming video, on my dm800 usb 2 no problem.i

      Thank you for your answer...

      But my problem is:
      when I plug-in USB-Wlan Stick = nothing happen
      When I try dit a "Wizard network install" - there is still just "Internal ethernet" interface and no "Wireless interface".
      I already tried make a change some config files but without effect.

      My TV and DreamBox is in different room as my Wireless router. I have to make it work ... ;(

      I assume that you plug your wireless adapter in before you turn your dm800 on,it almost sounds as if you have a driver issue have alook at this and see if it helps under plugins there is a usb2serial plugin which has drivers this maybe your problem

    • find one compatible wireless-usb device werent easy
      just with fift atemt got one which were detected by dm800

      firstly i take one at PCs accesories market and went to home for test,
      after two that tryes keeped dm800 to another bigger PCs market and then found one of tree Edimax got detected

      now all works, just after reboot Wireless is always in OFF state :(

      when looking for some compatible device check does it has usb extender cable
