I bought a new DM100 to have in my kids room. But when i plugged it in I got red and green led on, fine I was thinking but nothing on the TV connected the USB to my PC and it gave it a COM port started the loader program and it connected to the DM100 but download and upload failed. So it will be returned. Is this just bad luck or is the DM100 crap compared to other Dreamboxes?

I made some investigation and it seems that it is the 2SUB where the problem is. I tried the subtitle function in the menu and it works BUT it has to be stopped and started again if you timeshift is used if not there is no subtitle when timeshift is resumed. I tested this workaround on 2SUB but it does not help it still shows the "live" program. The biggest problem with subtitle from the menu is the really ugly color of the font. I'm running the latest Newnigma on my DM8000 and 2LANG is in the online installer. BUT I had to uninstall it because as it selected MPEG audio even when I had AC3 on in audio/video settings as default, so now I always have AC3 when it exists on a channel.

Some enigma2 expert reading this?

Could the softcam MgCamd or other handle more than 2 recordings at the time. Or perhaps I should ask what if i have 2 more DVB-S(2) tuners in my DM8000 so a total of 4 tuners is it then possible to record 3 channels and watch 1 channels or record 4 channels? And I am talking about all channels on different transponders/satellites. Is there some limitation in software or hardware for doing this?

The problem now is that if you press pause and when you start watching again the displayed subtitle is the non timeshifted subtitle. Will this be possible to fix in future enigma2 releases?
